Sponsorship Agreement

Effective as of September 13, 2026

These terms cover sponsorship recognition in Find the Idol games. An accepted written order confirmation completes the agreement between your organization and 8bit Company LLC, doing business as Find the Idol.

Written confirmation and authority

This agreement becomes binding when Find the Idol and an authorized representative of your organization accept a written order confirmation that identifies this agreement and its version. Submitting an inquiry alone does not buy a placement or create an agreement. The confirmation identifies the parties, selected game, dates, locations or placement, price, payment due date, deliverables, and any expressly agreed exceptions. Keep a copy of the accepted confirmation and agreement.

A specific, mutually accepted order term controls a conflict with this agreement for that order. The Terms of Service govern account use; the Game Policies govern gameplay. An order cannot retroactively reduce an offer or prize already promised to players.

Sponsorship package and term

The standard package is $199 for one four-week game. It includes a sponsor section on the game page with your confirmed name, logo, description, and website link, plus mentions in social-media posts about the game.

The package does not include placement on every idol page, a physical idol or business stop, a branded game reward, launch or winner announcements, exclusivity, or a separate paid-media campaign. There is no required social-media boost budget. Any additional deliverable must be identified in the accepted confirmation.

Sponsors may join up to three weeks after the game starts. The sponsorship package remains at its standard price throughout the game, regardless of when you join. Custom-game sponsorship uses the dates, scope, and price in the accepted confirmation.

Payment, changes, and cancellation

Pay the amount and any expressly disclosed tax or shipping charge by the date in the accepted confirmation. There is no automatic renewal. Additional work or charges require written agreement. A late-entry order states the standard price and remaining game dates before acceptance. The price stays the same throughout the game, regardless of when you join.

You may request cancellation by email. Before work begins, prepaid fees are refundable. Once work begins, Find the Idol may retain the documented value of work performed and nonrecoverable costs, up to the order price, and will refund the unused balance. If Find the Idol cancels or cannot supply the agreed service, you may accept a replacement schedule or receive a refund for undelivered services. Refunds are issued within 30 days after the amount is determined. Rights required by law remain available.

Report incorrect content, closures, or safety concerns promptly. We may temporarily remove unsafe, unlawful, or misleading material and will explain the issue and reasonable corrective steps. Material schedule, package, or price changes require written agreement; urgent safety suspensions may occur immediately.

Materials and placement

Provide accurate approved brand materials and a working destination link by the agreed deadline. You must have authority and rights to provide them. Find the Idol may make reasonable formatting changes that preserve their meaning. Material changes to the advertised placement require agreement.

Sponsor recognition identifies a commercial relationship; it is not an independent review or a guarantee of your products or services. Sponsorship does not entitle you to control rankings, receive additional points, select winners, or prevent other businesses or sponsors from participating unless an agreed exclusivity term specifically provides otherwise.

Prize funding and independence

Sponsorship fees purchase the stated promotional services. A sponsor is not a game-prize or business-offer provider merely because its name appears on a game. Prize funding or fulfillment requires a separate written commitment identifying the prize, amount, responsible provider, payment process, and applicable published game rules.

If you expressly undertake prize fulfillment, you must honor the published promise and any existing player rights despite later cancellation of sponsorship. You may not require a purchase, a positive review, or marketing consent to receive an advertised game prize. Sponsor staff with privileged game information must follow the prize eligibility exclusions in the Game Policies.

Player information

The sponsorship package does not include player contact lists, private photos, or precise player location information. Do not treat participation as permission to contact players for marketing. Any separately agreed information sharing must have an appropriate purpose, disclosure, and permission where required.

Brand permissions and truthful promotion

You retain ownership of the names, logos, photos, text, and other materials you provide. You authorize Find the Idol and its service providers to reproduce, resize, display, and distribute those materials to deliver and promote the agreed game. You confirm you have the necessary rights and permissions. Existing game recaps and social posts may remain as historical records; new unrelated advertising requires additional permission.

Both parties must make truthful claims and clearly identify paid sponsorships and incentivized endorsements where applicable. Do not require positive reviews or misleading endorsements. Materials supplied by Find the Idol may be used to promote your agreed participation, without implying an exclusive partnership or broader endorsement.

Responsibilities, disputes, and general terms

Each party is responsible for its own conduct, personnel, representations, and obligations. Neither party may bind the other or create a partnership, agency, or employment relationship. Participation does not guarantee player numbers, visits, sales, impressions, or a return on investment.

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses arising from this agreement. This does not excuse payment, promised refunds, offer or prize fulfillment, fraud, intentional misconduct, or liability that cannot legally be limited. Each party remains responsible for direct loss caused by its breach.

Contact termsofservice@findtheidol.com to attempt to resolve a dispute. California law governs, subject to mandatory applicable law. Business disputes may be brought in the state courts in Monterey County, California, or the federal court with jurisdiction there. This business agreement does not require consumer arbitration.

Neither party is liable for delay caused by events reasonably beyond its control, but must promptly notify the other and try to reduce the impact; payment for undelivered services remains subject to the refund terms. A waiver must be express. Invalid provisions do not invalidate the remainder. Neither party may assign an order without the other party’s consent, except to a successor assuming its obligations. Changes require mutual written acceptance; later website edits do not alter an accepted order.
